ITINERARY

Expand All

Begin your adventure with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town nestled in the Everest region. After landing, you’ll trek to Phakding, passing through lush forests and small Sherpa villages. Enjoy the serene surroundings and get your first views of the Himalayan peaks as you acclimatize to the altitude.

Today's trek is one of the most scenic and challenging of the journey. From Phakding, you’ll trek to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town that sits in a natural amphitheater. You will cross multiple suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, followed by a steep ascent. Namche Bazaar is the perfect place for acclimatization, offering a variety of shops and cafes.

After a rest day in Namche, continue your trek towards Dole, a peaceful village located at a higher altitude. The trail takes you through alpine forests and offers beautiful views of Ama Dablam and other surrounding peaks. The higher altitude prepares you for the challenges ahead as you continue to gain elevation.

Today, you will reach the serene and picturesque Gokyo Lakes. The route ascends gradually and passes through small settlements and stunning scenery, including the Ngozumpa Glacier. The turquoise lakes set against a backdrop of towering peaks like Cho Oyu make this a magical stop on your trek.

Start the day with a hike to Gokyo Ri, a peak that offers one of the best panoramic views of the Everest region. After taking in the breathtaking scenery, including Mount Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse, descend back to Gokyo. You’ll then continue the trek to Thangnak, a village located along the Ngozumpa Glacier, before returning to Gokyo.

Prepare for a challenging but rewarding day as you cross the Chola Pass, one of the highest and most demanding passes in the Everest region. The pass offers stunning views of Cho Oyu and the surrounding glaciers. After crossing the pass, descend to Dzongla, a small settlement where you’ll spend the night.

Today, you will trek to the legendary Everest Base Camp. The journey takes you through the Khumbu Icefall, where you’ll experience the raw beauty of the world’s highest mountain. After reaching Base Camp, descend to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay, surrounded by stunning mountain views.

Start your day early with a hike up to Kala Patthar, one of the best spots for a panoramic view of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks. After soaking in the breathtaking views, you will descend to Pheriche, passing through small villages and walking on easier terrain.

The descent back to Namche Bazaar is a pleasant trek as you follow the same trail through forests and valleys. This gives you a chance to reflect on the high-altitude challenges you’ve faced and enjoy the stunning landscapes once again.

Today, you’ll complete the final leg of your trek, heading back to Lukla. The route is mostly downhill and offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and villages. Upon reaching Lukla, you can relax and celebrate your accomplishments in this vibrant town.

After breakfast, take a short flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu. The scenic flight provides a last glimpse of the magnificent mountains you’ve just trekked. Arriving in Kathmandu, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and reflect on the unforgettable journey.
