Trishuli River Rafting is the nearest river activity and easily accessible from Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. Especially suitable for friends, family, and first-time rafters as Trishuli flows with 3+ grade and is considered as a safe rafting river. It is an outstanding opportunity to experience natural geographical versatility, the diverse landscape and the aquatic wildlife and vegetation for novice rafters. ITINERARY
Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi (820m).
Drive from Kathmandu to Charaundi. Run through a number of rapids, that rate to 2 to 3. Lunch on a beach and enter the Trishuli gorge. As the canyon narrows the walls becomes steep. Densely forested, the current accelerates and the rapids increase in the size and frequency. The last rapid, Jholungepul, is named for an extensive suspension bridge. Camp at Kurinatar on a sandy beach on the Trishuli Beach.
Day 2 : Drive Back to Kathmandu.
The second day has a leisurely pace. Continue down the Trishuli stopping to suit your interests. Spend the whole day within its forested canyon. Take lunch beside the river and have time to explore, bird watch, photograph and learn about the local people. End the river trip and drive back to Kathmandu/ Pokhara.
