Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. This day is mainly for you to rest and recover after your journey, with a brief orientation in the evening to discuss your upcoming trek.

Today, you'll take a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. The flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lukla, you'll begin your trek towards Phakding, a charming village on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. The trek is relatively easy, with lush landscapes and a gradual ascent.

Today’s trek takes you through Benkar, Chumoa, and Monjo before reaching Namche Bazaar. This trail is a bit more challenging due to the gradual ascent, but the vibrant Sherpa villages and views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam make it a memorable day. You'll arrive in Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, known for its markets, hotels, and guesthouses.

To adjust to the increasing altitude, this day is dedicated to acclimatization. You’ll spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar, visit the Sherpa Museum, or hike up to Syangboche for incredible views of Mount Everest and Lhotse. Acclimatization is crucial to help prevent altitude sickness.

From Namche, the trail ascends gently through Khumjung and Kundar to reach Dole, a peaceful village with fantastic views of the surrounding peaks. The landscape begins to change as you get closer to the glacial moraine.

The trek continues upwards to Machermo, a small village located near the edge of the Macherma Valley. This day's trek is relatively short but helps you acclimatize further. The views of Cho Oyu and the surrounding peaks are spectacular.

Today's trek takes you along the trail that leads to the magnificent Gokyo Lakes. The landscape becomes more dramatic as you approach the glacial lakes, and the towering peaks of Everest, Makalu, and Cho Oyu surround you.

An early morning ascent of Gokyo Ri rewards you with breathtaking views of the Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu ranges. After soaking in the views, descend back to Gokyo via Thangnak, a small settlement with spectacular views of the Gokyo Lakes.

Today is one of the most challenging days as you cross the Cho La Pass, a steep and rocky path that connects the Gokyo and Everest Base Camp regions. After crossing the pass, you descend to Dzongla, a small village nestled below Lobuche.

From Dzongla, the trail heads toward Lobuche, a village at the foot of Lobuche Peak. The walk offers magnificent views of the Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks.

Today you will trek towards Everest Base Camp, passing through Gorak Shep. Upon reaching the base camp, you’ll be in awe of the towering Kumbhu Icefall and the imposing Mount Everest. After a brief visit, return to Gorak Shep for overnight rest.
